She currently works as the main anchor and executive producer of the morning and noon news at CBS and FOX affiliate KMVT/KTWT in Twin Falls, Idaho. Danielle is an Ohio native, but came to Idaho from Beaumont, Texas, where she worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor/producer for a FOX affiliate.
She started her on-air career when she was just nineteen years old at her hometown station in Mansfield, Ohio. It was during that time she met her now husband and co-host, Nick Kosir.
Danielle is the 2011 and 2010 recipient of the Idaho Press Club's "Best Morning Show" award. In 2010, this came less than six months after she created 'Rise and Shine’ from the ground up. KMVT was also the 2011 recipient of the "Best Use of Social Media" award. The honor came after Danielle played a pivotal role in re-launching the station's Facebook and Twitter pages following her arrival in Southern Idaho.
She has also earned national and local recognition for a two-part investigative series on hotel coin buyers. She took home second place for "Best Investigative Report" in the 2011 Press Club of Southeast Texas awards. The series also won her the 2010 Numismatic Literary Guild award for "Best Television Report."
Danielle graduated early and with honors from Malone University in Canton, Ohio, with a degree in Communication Arts, media concentration and writing minor.
One of her favorite parts of the job is meeting viewers and getting involved in the community. She is a member of the Twin Falls Optimist Club and the Magic Valley Leadership Program. You can always find her around town emceeing, judging or volunteering at events for area non-profit organizations.
When Danielle's not at work, she enjoys hosting dinner parties, playing board games and spending time with Nick and their son.
